BI Technology - Parts Search

BI technology have a catalogue of several thousand electronic components which are direct equivalent replacements for other manufacturer's parts.

To help their customers to locate the correct part, BI provide a search where their customers can enter a part reference number for a third party part. The search then returns a list valid BI equivalents.

Users of the BI parts serach can refine their search by product category, or search all. The search also performs some wildcard searching, to provide possible matches if the part number entered was not complete.

Equaliser Internet developed a database to store the BI parts list, and provided a bespoke script to search the database. The search returns quick and accurate results to thousand of users every month.
