Content Publishing

• Real time management of all content pages on your website
  With dotAdmin's user friendly WYSIWYG page editor, you can edit content just as easily as a word processor.
• Publication and expiry dates on documents
  Individual documents on your website can be set to appear on a given date, then disappear again when they expire. The documents will automatically be removed from all dynamically generated navigation elements on the website.
• Multiple administrators with varying privileges
  Your site can be managed by multiple groups of administrators. Each group of administrators can have edit privileges for different  parts of the site, allowing the site "super administrator" to control which editor can edit which documents.
• Site search
  Your website will 'spider' itself as it is created and edited, keeping your search results current and accurate to your real content.

Powerful Automated Navigation Controls

dotAdmin can manage and automate your web site navigation, generating date-based and priority-based navigation components on-the-fly. For example:

• Automatic news archive generation
  dotAdmin can generate date-based news archive navigations, which show the most recent articles on the front page, and month-by-month archives of past news. The system will automatically update the archive, and homepage whilst the administrator retains full control.
• Paging style navigation system
  dot Admin can also dynamically sort large content resources into multiple pages of content. The administrator has total control over the number of links displayed per page and the sort order of the data (by Title, Publication Date, or Importance).

Website User Interaction

dotAdmin offers many powerful "value added" features to website users, and allows websites to acheive a high level of interaction with their users.

• Members only areas
  The site adminstrator (s) can create password protected areas of the website, which can either be accessed simply by registering a username and password, or by requesting a manually granted access priviledge.
• Website user management
  Site admininistrators have full control over all registered website users, and can grant or deny privileges to each registered user individually. Registered users can also be emailed en-masse using the integrated mailing list system.
• Forums
  An integrated forum system allows site administrators to contol the appaerance, content, and access rights for an unlimited number of forums and topics.
• Newsletter mailing list system
  Your site users can sign up to the website mailing list, allowing site administrators to send out email messages to all registered users, or specific targetted groups of users on the list. The mailing list is autonomous, allowing users to unsubscribe at any time, and removing out-of-date addresses from the list. The mailing system even allows you to mail out a copy of one of your site pages to the mailing list (e.g: your site homepage, or an archived newsletter).
• Powerful form handling features
  The  dotAdmin CMS has a powerful form handler which can both deliver the results of form submissions to you via email, and also store them in an online database table. You can store the data from multiple forms in a single group of data, and can retrieve the data later in either XML format for machine-readability, or .csv format suitable for your spreadsheet application, such as MS Excel.
